company and matched with the twin-screw extruder is used for
filling and reinforcing inorganic materials such as glass fiber,
talc powder, carbonic acid and titanium dioxide in the production
of twin-screw extrusion. The dosing device is dosed to the side
feeding device by a quantitative feeder, and then forced into the
twin-screw main body through a dedicated barrel and a constant gap
twin screw. If the additive material is added from the main feed
port by a conventional method, on the one hand, due to the
different bulk density of the plurality of materials, especially
when the powder is added, the layering of the powder is easy, and
the composition of the finished product is uneven. On the other
hand, the hardness of the added materials is mostly compared.
High, solid, not plasticized, the addition of solids from the
barrel will cause wear on the screw and barrel of the feed
section. However, if the lateral feeding method is adopted, the
filling material is added from the melting section of the
material, and the filling material is wrapped and mixed by the
molten material as soon as it enters the main machine, thereby
avoiding the wear of the screw and the barrel, and reducing the
friction caused by the friction. Energy waste, effectively
increase production and production efficiency, and reduce
production costs.
According to the customer's production experience, the use of our
company's side feeding system, the amount of calcium carbonate can
reach 550Kg / h, the amount of short fiber can reach 500 Kg / h,
and improve the filling content accuracy. Taking the introduction
of glass fiber as an example, the accuracy of the glass fiber
content introduced by the long fiber is ±5%, and the short-cut
glass fiber is introduced by the side feeding system, and the
measured glass fiber content accuracy is ±2%. It can be proved
that the side feeding system not only greatly increases the output
of the main engine, but also reduces the energy consumption,
reduces the wear, improves the life of the barrel screw, and
prolongs the screw assembly.
The barrel of the new side feeder designed and produced by our
company adopts the whole wear-resistant steel sleeve for the
introduction of glass fiber material, which improves the wear
resistance and prolongs the service life;
The screw of the side feeder abandoned the early design structure
of the whole screw and the equal pitch, and adopted the structure
of the mandrel plus the equal-gap fully-engaged thread block,
adopting various pitches and building blocks to improve the forced
conveying effect and ensure the side. Feeding accuracy and yield;
Moreover, more humanized structures have been added, such as
observation holes at the spline sleeve, drawers for cleaning
leaks, flat screw heads, height-adjusting brackets, and the like.
